The Red Clay Dance Youth Ensemble, founded in 2010, develops young artists through a rigorous technique training schedule and a full performance season. This training produces dancers committed to artistic excellence, self-advocacy and collaboration.
This year we are very excited to introduce the Red Clay Dance Youth Ensemble to The International Association of Blacks in Dance Conference & Festival. The IABD Conference and Festival is dedicated to preserving and promoting dance by people of African ancestry or origin, and assists and increases opportunities for artists in networking, funding, performance, education, audience development, philosophical dialogue, touring and advocacy. The Association also responds to and initiates dialogue around issues that impact the Black Dance Community as well as the community at large. The Conference and Festival will be held January 25-29, 2017 in Dallas, TX.
It takes a village to raise a child and our young people need us now more than ever; to support, encourage, mentor, protect, inspire and love them. We request that all donations be made by January 16, 2017. All donations are tax-deductible.
